Rules for Baseball 

"NEVER STOP HUSTLING"

SCHOOL RESPONSIBILITIES
-Never use baseball as an excuse for not achieving in the classroom.
-Your grades are your responsibility; your future is your academics!
-You are to be respectful to all staff and teachers.
-Be on time to school; follow all school rules

 

TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES
- Always hustle -once we step on the field, we do not walk
- Our practice philosophy - improve every day
- No "transfer of blame", No but's; No excuses
- Do not take coaches corrections or criticisms personally
- Refrain from foul language
- Sportsmanship: Do not argue with an umpire
- Do not let your parents talk for you, if you have a problem talk to the coach
- Never be late, pride yourself on being early

GAME RESPONSIBILITIES
-Always hustle
-The bench is a player's classroom. Learn and stay focused.
-Clean uniform, complete uniform, shined spikes
-No cleats on bus/locker room
-Always be on your best behavior-you are a model for anyone watching, and people will judge our program based on your conduct
-No excuse for not being ready to play
-How you deal with failure shapes ones character far better than how one deals with success
