Financial Aid Night will be held on September 20, 2018 from 5:00 -
6:00 pm (prior to Back to School Night).  Please see additional information towards the bottom of this page.

The College Fair, hosted by Torrington High School and Oliver Wolcott Technical School, will be held on Thursday,  October 4, 2018 at Oliver Wolcott Technical School in their gymnasium and cafeteria. 

A Financial Aid presentation will be held from 5:30 - 6:00 pm and the College Fair will be held from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.  All students and parents are welcome to attend!  It's never too early to start preparing for college!  Click here for the flyer.

Please fax your request together with a signed release to 860.489.4085. 

TRANSCRIPT REQUEST (former students): To request a copy of a transcript for yourself as a former student of Torrington High School, please email ( or fax (860.489.4085) a request.

In your request, please indicate

  • your name (including the name you graduated under in case it has changed since then)
  • your date of birth
  • the approximate year of graduation or withdrawal from our school
  • name and address of where to send the transcript.

Unofficial transcripts can be released to the requestor. Official transcripts can only be sent directly to the colleges, universities, employers, etc., upon your request. Please click here for a form that can be submitted to me via fax, email, etc.

TRANSCRIPT REQUEST (current students): Please complete the Transcript Request form and return it to the Guidance Office for processing. If the transcript needs to be mailed (not the common application), please remember to include an envelope addressed to the college/university together with a stamp on it and your name in the upper left hand corner. Transcript Requests must be submitted to the Guidance Secretary a minimum of 4 school days prior to the deadline for processing and mailing in a timely manner!

Final transcripts will need to be mailed to your college, university, technical school, etc. in June 2019.

Prior to your leaving school in June 2019, You must bring in a business size envelope. 

The envelope should include the address of the college, university, school, etc...., a stamp in the upper right hand corner and your name in the upper left hand corner. 

The envelope should be given to Mrs. Boutin in the Guidance Office so your final transcript can be mailed out.

Financial Aid Information Night

College Planning/Financial Aid Night will be held on September 20 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Little Theater.  Parents and students should plan to attend to review the college application process with the School Counselors and then to hear from the Barnum Financial Group regarding the financial aid process and to have your financial aid questions answered! ATTENTION JUNIORS & SENIORS! If you are registered with, or are planning on registering with, the NCAA Eligibility Center, you must bring a stamped envelope to Guidance addressed to the NCAA Eligibility Center in order to have your end of year transcript sent to the Eligibility Center. Write your name in the top left hand corner of the envelope. You must also fill out a transcript request form that must be signed by a parent/guardian. Seniors - The Eligibility Center MUST have your final transcript before you are deemed eligible to participate in college athletics!

Child Study Team (CST) 

The CST is an opportunity to bring staff together from different disciplines to identify and plan for a student's educational needs.
